Core Principles

Our Mission

Enriching lives through action and affirmation.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

At Englishton Park, we value and incorporate the strengths afforded by age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. We welcome with open arms families and staff from diverse backgrounds and identities.  At our core, we believe that an inclusive environment is better for everyone.  CARE through a lens of unconditional positive regard drives our spirit.  A sense of community bridled with genuine acceptance and COMPASSION fosters self-worth that extends beyond the historic stone walls of Englishton Park.

Authentic COMMITMENT empowers all who join us in our experience!

The historic five-part purpose of the summer camp experience is to:

  1. Improve academic skills

  2. Change attitudes toward learning

  3. Have the children experience success in school-type activities

  4. Modify behavior interfering with learning.

  5. To train educators, counselors, and psychologists in valuable methods which they can successfully utilize when working with children who display special academic, emotional, and/or behavioral needs
